哈勒維特旅館(Halvat Guesthouse)

I had a fantastic experience during my 6 day stay at Halvat Hotel. The hotel owner, Valida, was very kind and helpful. It was a very pleasant surprise to find out that she is also a tour guide! Location is great if you plan to spend a lot or daily time in or around the Baščaršija area and Ferhadija street. The room was well maintained and clean. Simple and tidy. Towels were provided. Bathroom showed no signs of water damage or anything nasty. No dust, everything was in good order. Since my stay was during the off season there isn't much I can say about the complimentary breakfast that would be normally provided during the high tourist season. Nor can I determine the noise level, but my stay was quite peaceful. From the outside environment, it appeared that this part of the city was relatively quiet (minimal disturbing traffic and ambiance). Clothes are washed else where, but there are offers available depending on the load size. Price was reasonable. Wi-fi and air-conditioning are also provided. If you are traveling solo or to the country for the first time (like me), then I highly recommend it. The owners are incredibly thoughtful and patient who add a very human element to the whole experience. I will be staying there again if ever given another opportunity to visit Sarajevo.

Ad un passo dal bellissimo quartiere di Bascarsija, Halvat Guesthouse è perfettamente in linea con la grande ospitalità dei cittadini di Sarajevo. Casa comoda e con un garage privato, a disposizione degli ospiti. Una manna dal cielo per i motociclisti. A piedi si raggiunge più o meno tutto, compresa la funivia e la fortezza gialla, punto ideale per godere il tramonto, dall’alto, sulla città. Valida, la proprietaria, è stata disponibilissima, nonostante non fosse in grandissima forma fisica. A presto.

This is a great place to stay if you wanted to be treated like an honored guest instead of like a number. Valida is easily one of the best hostesses I have encountered. She is super friendly and hospitable. She offered us Bosnian coffee every time we saw her, and we gladly accepted every time! The rooms are very comfortable. The a/c is great. Breakfast is spectacular and included freshly-made omelettes. It was a real treat to stay here, and I will definitely stay here again if I return to Sarajevo.

First time in Sarajevo and we had a great stay at Halvat Guesthouse. The hosts Valida and Mumo were so welcoming and gave us plenty of good recommendations for us to make the most of our stay. Rooms are clean and spacious. We travelled by plane and Mumo's airport pickup was a breeze and took the hassle out of arriving in a new city. Breakfast was amazing as well.

Were guests here at Valida for the second time, it's almost like visiting family, we were warmly welcomed ❤️ Very nice, modern, spacious rooms, breakfast leaves nothing to be desired! We were able to park our motorcycles in a locked garage. The location is also perfect, approx. 300 meters to Sarajevo Old Town but no noise pollution in the room! This accommodation is highly recommended for a visit to Sarajevo! We will stay there again when we are in Sarajevo again, already looking forward to it! Greetings from Austria Claudia & Wolfgang

Stayed here in Feb-March and it was excellent. Host was lovely and full of fun stories, great location near the Old Town and the yellow Fort panoramic viewpoint of the city. Delicious homemade breakfasts and good local recommendations from the host. Thank you! Hope to see you again soon x

Ein kleines Bijou, ein paar Schritte von der Altstadt (Baščaršija) entfernt und trotzdem ruhig. Geräumige und sehr saubere Zimmer. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche übrig - und wenn man trotzdem solche hat - dann erfüllt das sehr zuvorkommende und aufmerksame Besitzerpaar diese unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Vom Empfang über die Dauer des Aufenthaltes bis zur Abreise alles perfekt! Das Halvat Guesthouse empfehlen wir ohne Vorbehalte weiter!
