24南部飯店(Hotel 24 South)

Hotel 24 South is a wonderful place to stay! A historic downtown hotel near several very good restaurants! The service was excellent, the room spacious, and the bed very comfortable. It is near the Woodrow Wilson library which we were there to see.

24 South（原石牆傑克遜酒店）是一家可愛的老酒店，坐落在享受斯湯頓的完美地點。辦理入住時，我們被告知早餐區因疫情關閉，他們因疫情不進房間，熱水浴缸因疫情等原因關閉，但前台工作人員和其他工作人員為 100 % 未屏蔽。 房間很整潔但是很平淡。下面的床單沒有安裝，而是一張平板床單，它在半夜解開，讓我們睡在裸露的床墊上。 外帶早餐包括糕點和鬆餅、冰鎮香蕉和蘋果以及酸奶。所做的努力非常少。 另一個令人失望的是游泳池。我們都穿上衣服，下水游泳。我們到了那裡，有一個大家庭在泳池區舉辦比薩派對，而他們的孩子則接管了健身房。我們用腳趾測試了游泳池，發現溫度很低。這是一個室內地下游泳池，附有熱水浴缸（因新冠病毒而禁止使用）。當然它有加熱的能力，但他們選擇不加熱。 似乎他們很少努力使它成為一種愉快的體驗。我知道現在到處都人手不足。

Very convenient to the train station. Clean and comfortable. I loved that the water was hot no matter what time of day.

Great location, friendly staff. Would have rated higher if not for the extremely loud music/bass thumping from 9pm-midnight. I called down to the front desk at 10pm to inquire about why it was so loud and was told there was a party in one of the ballrooms and that quiet hours would start at 11pm. We still heard the bass well past 11 despite having our sound machine turned up as high as it goes. We understand and expect “normal” hotel sounds like the comings and goings of others, but the sound of a party from our room on the 3rd floor, especially when traveling with small children, was really disappointing and exhausting.

Although we spent a quick overnight and did not have time to explore the charming downtown of Staunton, staying at Hotel 24 South made me want to come back and explore next time we are in the area. The staff was excellent and friendly!

I adore the Hotel 24 bc of its history and the contemporary touches. It is comfortable and clean and quiet. I can’t wait to return.

We found the room to be quite warm and could not open any windows. So we just turned off the heat. Also the view from the window was a wall. Which was OK for our purpose. Plus it kept the room from any street noise. When we stayed last year, there was a complimentary breakfast. That was not an option this trip.

Nice downtown property-- I've stayed before. Bar and restaurant closed except for Thursday thru Sunday doesn't make sense-- at least keep the bar/lounge open with some snacks available. I may choose to stay elsewhere next time because of this. Sad, because I like a classic downtown hotel.

Really pleasant atmosphere. Nice and quiet. Amazing location. Loved the historic vibe. Not fancy but clean, comfortable and well appointed. Would definitely stay again. Only bummer was the indoor pool was quite cold and the hot tub was closed.
