維多利亞飯店(Hotel Victoria)

Very nice hotel specially when they renovation for it. Staff are friendly and very good services from their side. Location is wonderful with nice view.

The doorjambs on the floor are incredibly high resulting in my husband tripping and falling. The breakfast was not good on either of the two mornings we were there; freezing cold eggs and bacon and the fruit for the salad was cut so big we had to cut it at our table to eat it. Layout for breakfast is not cohesive. The shower is terrible! There is no way you can avoid getting water on the wood doorframes becasue of the shower design. The whole bathroom is wet afterwards. Not a great experience for such an expensive stay.

Veldig rene rom, veldig gode senger ( pleier ikke sove godt i fremmede senger, men denne var god) og sikkert lyddempende vinduer for vi sov lenge utpå dagen etterpå! Frokosten var helt grei. Alt i alt et flott opphold som kan anbefales. Prøvde ikke hotellbaren denne gangen pga begivenheten vi skulle ut på, men har prøvd den før og også den kan anbefales.

Absolutely awesome motel. Check in was easy. Staff extremely friendly. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The free buffet breakfast is awesome, so much to choose from. Located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Short walk, about 7 minutes to the bus/train station.

We stayed a very fantastic overnight in the hotel. When we arrived the friendly lady in the reception told us that she is trying to call me the day before due to a problem with the elevator. The elevator is not working at the moment and she has upgraded our room and also moved us on the lowest floor possible. Location-wise the hotel is situated in the city center and few minutes walk away from restaurants and bars around the area.

The a**osphere is great! Cosy room, and everything is both historic and modern at the same time. In a way few others succeed with. The reception is super helpful and present. The bar serves very good cocktails. There is a gym, with modern equipments. Only minus, is the lack of a sauna. The big thing to improve is the breakfast. The made on order menu is not that good, the waiting time is long and why ask what you would like on you omelet if you always get the same thing. Breakfast doesn’t meet the expectations from the rest of the hotel.

The check in, dining, Paul and the team in the lounge made the whole trip to an event and not only a stay :-) The new renovated hotel has kept it's charm. This is really a pearl in Stavanger.

Great two night stay at the Hotel Victoria when our plans suddenly changed due to bad weather. We stayed in the deluxe suite and it was very roomy, comfortable and offered a good night's sleep. Erik at the front desk was very helpful and helped with our reservations for high tea and all our questions about the hotel and area. The breakfast was very good and one of the best we had in Norway. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
