Biggest challenge was finding out that we'd been iver charge by Hotel.com as the invoice from the hotel itself was less. This really put a dampner on the stay. Hotel.com didn't do a anything about it, simply didn't care/not their problem.
The hotel itself was nice, we had two room both looked and fitted wonderfully. Sadly our room had very noisy floors from the room above - like a heard of elephants going to sleep and woken up too early. It was supposed to be relaxing. The ither woom smelt a little musty and damp.
Service seemed slow, both reception and the restaurant. Friendly enough but you expect more when you pay more.
Location was great, free parking a bonus.
But overall disappointed.
