From the moment we landed on Fiji’s garden island, Taveuni Palms Resort catered to our every need in the most luxurious way possible!! Their welcome brought us to tears of happiness and we knew were at the start of a fabulous two weeks of total relaxation in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The owners Colleen & Barry are the most gracious hosts and their outstanding staff made anything and everything we wanted happen. We were TOTALLY SPOILED during our stay. The food was of gourmet quality and your choices, whatever your preferences (vegan, gluten free, etc), were endless. We never had a repeat dinner! And everything was made fresh daily. We rented the beach villa which was beyond comfortable, spacious and provided us with our own private beach front access and pool. The resort’s property is a palms oasis boasting the loveliest landscaping that only Fiji provides. We loved how the staff incorporated the plants and flowers inside the villa and table settings. The villa provided the best views of the Somasoma strait, along with the incredible sunsets and stars at night. We actually saw a clear view of the Milky Way! The resort organized private local tours of the island such as the bird sanctuary, visit to a pearl farm, waterfalls … one of which we were able to swim in. Again, we were totally spoiled and taken care of. Also, the Fijian people of Taveuni are the warmest and kindest people that we have met. So welcoming, genuine and kind. Everything about Taveuni Palms is spectacular, lush gardens, views to die for, delicious food (every meal!), gorgeous staff, lush linen ,the list goes on! Our holiday was a perfect mix of relaxing by the pool ,exploring the Islands hidden gems, and game fishing in style (definitely my husband’s highlight!) This was our fourth trip back to Taveuni Palms and our first time returning to Taveuni since Covid. Our memories of Taveuni Palms were so amazing that we were slightly anxious to see if much had changed in the time we had been away. I can report that every aspect was as perfect as we remembered with some additional features (eg. an even larger stocked wine fridge among others). If anything, our experience was even better (if that is even possible with the high standards at this place) and we have a new set of incredible memories to draw from as we plan our next return visit! Taveuni Palms is where you come to when you want to experience a truly unique luxurious Fijian island escape which feels like your own Fijian holiday home but fully catered by your own private staff. We have been coming to Fiji for over 13 years which has included trips to other family-friendly luxury resorts such as Vomo and JMC. However, after all these years, I can assure you that nowhere else compares to Taveuni Palms in terms of the impeccable level of service, attention to detail, exceptional food (seriously good) and the sheer beauty of the surroundings. There are only 2 villas which makes it a truly exclusive experience as you feel like you are the only guests staying. In the 4 times we have stayed here we have never seen (or even heard!) another guest even though we were told there were other guests staying. The privacy is second to none. It really does feel like this tropical island paradise is yours alone to experience and explore. If I had to choose what it is about Taveuni Palms that keeps us coming back, it would be the people who make this place what it is. GMs Colleen and Barry make you feel so special and that no request is ever too hard and every wish can be easily accommodated. Sia, Veronica, Manoa and every one of the staff work so hard day and night providing a truly 5 star level of service in every aspect from food service and preparation to housekeeping, groundskeeping and activities/recreational management/boat trips etc. We stay in the Beach villa each time as we have 2 active boys who love the private pool and exploring the private beach and house reef. The villa is stunning with the most breathtaking ocean views which you can enjoy from a selection of viewing decks, the gardens are lush and beautifully kept and yes, there is still a chilled bottle of our favourite champagne (Tattinger) on arrival! There is also a fridge full of champagne, superb wine selection (lots of excellent NZ chardonnay and sav blanc) to select from as you please or you can order a cocktail if you prefer. The beauty of this place is that you can choose to do as much or as little as you want. There is paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkelling right off your own beach by simply stepping outside your villa. I have found my new heaven on earth. Wow !!! without doubt one of the best weeks of my life. Colleen and Barry and all of the staff could not be nicer. It is truly next level luxury. To sit back and relax in such a beautiful place and have this high level of service is rare. The resort itself is stunning and so well kept. The villas are perfect for chilling out in style. You never want to leave. spend your day in the pool or snorkeling on the reef right out the front of the villa. It's a tough decision. The food is the best (by far) I have had in any of the visits (4) I have done to Fiji. It is world class. It's worth trying the frozen Top that off with amazing scuba diving, deep sea fishing, waterfall walks and swims, and you can easily see how I can confidently say it is Fiji's best resort. Having spent an incredible week there, it is absolute torture to have to return to the real world. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you, Colleen and Barry, for everything. What an amazing place Colleen & Barry have here at Tavenui Palms. We have had the best time relaxing & soaking up the sun. Not only is the place exceptional but the staff are the loveliest of people and nothing is ever too much for them. The food is absolutely delicious and every meal blew my mind. This is my husband and my 3rd trip to Taveuni in a span of 18 years. This time we traveled with our 12 year old daughter and another couple of good friends. The Horizon villa at Taveuni palms was great and we all had plenty of room and privacy. Our daughter took the separate “teen” bure which was spacious and comfortable. The main house was laid out well and had lots of great lounge areas. The beach bed was my favorite place to hide out from the afternoon sun which can be a little intense. What really makes this place over the top though is the hospitality of the staff and owners. It’s almost like you think of something and it appears. Morning cafe lattes were the best and appeared at the exact moment you wanted one. Fresh fruit smoothies were delectable and every morsel of food we had was an experience in itself. Sia, Veronica, Anna, Manoa and the rest of the team made sure we were always happy and content and we were greeted every time we returned from a dive adventure or other excursion with smiles and cold ice water. Luxurious bliss. This was our fourth trip to Fiji and I can’t believe we hadn’t stayed at Taveuni Palms Resort until now. Gorgeous private setting. Five-star service from the kindest staff I’ve ever met. Delicious food that included freshly baked croissants, homemade coconut ice cream, four-course dinners beautifully set up wherever we wanted on the property, and just about anything we requested. Our villa was situated on its own acre of property with multiple decks, our own pool, and views you only dream of. Fresh flowers showed up daily. The beach villa itself was spacious, clean, and provided for all our needs from the outdoor showers to the open living and dining area to the kitchen and wrap-around deck. So many places to lounge and relax and always with a view of the ocean and swaying palm trees. We enjoyed several excursions from the hike to Buoma waterfall where we leapt off the cliff and landed in the cool waters below to a day of snorkeling Rainbow Reef and a decadent picnic on an uninhabited beach. And we were lucky to see pods of dolphins many times during our stay including while snorkeling the reef just off our villa. It if weren’t for Covid I would have hugged every single one of the staff and the fantastic owners, Colleen and Barry. We will be back.

My husband and I just left our 10 day stay at Taveuni Palms and I’ve never been so sad to leave a vacation in my life! We have traveled to many beautiful places and have stayed at many 5 star resorts but Taveuni Palms is above everywhere else! Colleen and Barry the owners have gathered a team that cater to your every wish from start to finish! They have at least 5 staff members for every one guest so the service is second to none. Originally this trip was set for March 2020 but due to Covid it was postponed 3 times. Colleen you as so gracious and accommodating with all of the many changes that needed to be made. It really took the stress off of me and it was so worth the wait! First off - the villas. There are only 2 in this entire resort. We stayed in the Horizon Spa Villa and it was absolutely gorgeous. It was a 3 bedroom villa, with multiple decks and levels to enjoy just for the 2 of us. The main level that held our suite had an incredible view of the ocean, but so did the hot tub level above us, the deck below our villa where you can have a meal, the other deck below the main level where you can lay out and soak up the sun, or the lowest level which is beach front, has a beautiful covered bed to lay on and relax with your own private set of stairs where you can walk from your own private beach into the ocean. All of these spaces are completely private where we never saw another human other than the many staff members who wait on you and pamper you constantly! Secondly - the food and drinks. All of your meals are included and are all prepared by skilled chefs. I unfortunately can’t eat seafood and my husband loves it. That was no problem for the team at Taveuni Palms. Every night they made us completely different meals to both of our liking. Each day for each meal we could choose whatever we wanted any time we wanted and there was no such thing as sticking to the menu or being on a time schedule. We were able to choose any of the many locations in our villa to eat and they decorate the table like a work of art at every meal. The fridge in our huge kitchen was fully stocked with every kind of beer, wine, and champagne we liked and every night our personal printed dinner menu came with a chef’s recommendation for wine. We went with it almost daily and it was the perfect pairing every time. Every day after our excursions we also ordered some Bula drinks, which are the mixed drinks of all sorts that come cold, strong and even the drinks came with a beautiful presentation! Third - the excursions. There were no crowded tour buses, and no set times that had to be followed. They have many different adventures to choose from and we did a new one every day. But the best part was - we did them all alone! A private driver would take us to a hike, take us to waterfalls, take us to the International Date Line, etc. and we would have the entire place to ourselves.
