開普勒橡樹木屋飯店(Kepler Oaks Chalet)

The host, Helen, was extremely welcoming. There was freshly baked and buttered slices of date loaf waiting for us and a short while after our arrival Helen brought a fresh warm homemade loaf of bread. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter and breakfast cereals were provided. The beds were super comfy with feather duvets, excellent heating and wifi too.

Nicely appointed property, in a country cottage traditional style with a modern twist. Well equipped. Split into two units - our family of 5 had the 2 bedroom unit which was good size. Beautifully kept, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Located on the same land as the owner's property but at a suitable distance for privacy. Surrounded by open fields and mountain views but only a 5-10 minute drive to Te Anau. Helen was a lovely host. The personal touches of freshly baked bread, butter and jam added to the experience and were very tasty! Helen did offer our kids pony rides but sadly rain put a stop to it but this again was a lovely touch. The addition of bedroom wardrobes (useful for longer staying guests), deck table/chairs to eat outside in the evening and perhaps a partition on the deck between the two units for privacy would be our suggested additions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful environment with easy walk to awesome river with running rapids. Modern spacious accommodation, with a variety of animals around and views. Easy short drive from the Te Anau. Highly recommend.

We had a great couple of nights here with our daughter, son in law and grandkids aged 8 & 11. When we arrived we were given a delicious freshly baked loaf of warm bread and the following day when we returned home after a day out there was lovely date loaf waiting. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom is huge. The kids loved going on a horse trek adventure with Helen and David and enjoyed the other animals they got to interact with, the lovely dogs Kai & Duke, sheep, alpaca and the big rooster and his lady. Very clean, warm and comfortable also close to Te Anau township. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

One could scarcely ask for anything more. Such a beautiful apar**ent in an exceptionally lovely rural setting, yet only minutes from Te Anau and not far from Manipuri where tours of Doubtful Sound begin, and also well positioned for Milford. The studio apar**ent is large, comfortably furnished and has a well-appointed kitchen. The Wi-Fi works well. We enjoyed wandering the property and saying Hello to the horses, alpacas and dogs, one of which kept paying us visits. Helen was very helpful, providing us with freshly made bread, butter, jam and cake. Being older and a little wobbly, I really appreciated the shower with its seat and grabrails.
