卡瑟斯公寓和山旅館(Kasees Apartments & Mountain Lodge)

The apartment was lovely. The drying room was very helpful. Staff were friendly.

Thredbo is expensive. This lodge was selected for being at the cheaper end of the pricing. This is a family run lodge and the staff (family!) were very helpful and friendly. Allowed us to check in early as came from far away and were welcoming. The lodge has no onsite restaurant but does have small kitchens with everything you need to cook. This suited us but may not suit everyone. The rooms very basic as expected but clean and functional. There is a ski gear room and a sitting area. Location wise it was right next to the bus stop so easy to catch the shuttles. Walking down the hill was fine and you were right in middle of village. Walking back up again not so great!

We attended here for our hike. The room had no aircon which was unsettling and terrible parking. Was clean and cosy so we liked the room. However. Don't go here if you want a sleep in. We were woken every morning at 8am as we were right next to reception. Was the worst sleep and I am a little sad I didn't pay the extra money to stay elsewhere to sleep in on our break.....

Very short stroll to shops and Merrits Sky lift! Over all amazing stay!

Stayed 3 nights as Kasees with my daughter and her friend for some summer mountain hiking the Main Range. The apartment (number 7) was absolutely spotlessly clean and the views are stunning. Staff friendly and helpful. The location, private garden path to Thredbo main square is just so convenient. It's also very quite and private. We will stay again for sure.

Our apartment at Kasees was a great place to return to at the end of each full day of hiking. It was quiet, yet not far from the shopping area in Thredbo, had a perfect little kitchen and living room plus balcony with stunning views of the valley and the mountain. Highly recommend.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, but old. They lacked power points for charging and you needed to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. A good supply of cooking utensils. Views from the balcony were spectacular. Off street parking was a bonus; a short walk to every thing in the village.

Our stay was amazing. Thredbo is built by the community that surrounds the area, that lives and breathes the history that is still present in the village today. The Lodge is in top nick despite its age, and you are greeted by the original builders and owners of the a Lodge, who are the true living legends of Thredbo. They are most kind, generous and hospitable to all their guests that stay at their humble abode; which was all hand built by European Immigrants in the early 60s. Upon settling in, the view from the balcony is magnificent. I couldn’t more highly recommend staying at Kasees, and look forward to returning in the Winter.
