Soggiornato e pernottato per 3 giorni non posso trovare una pecca personale gentile e super disponibile hotel bellissimo e pulitissimo situato in una zona davvero molto strategica di tirana ..... voglio ringraziare soprattutto il taxista che ci ha inviato il proprietario,,,,e stato super disponibile in tutto

My husband and I stayed 3 nights on our first trip to Albania. Due to a flight cancellation several weeks ago, we had to change our trip dates and felt lucky Vila Tako had space on such notice. The location was excellent, the room could not have been cleaner and although we felt we had the hotel to ourselves for the first 2 days, Ledia always responded immediately to our concerns/questions on WhatsApp. We finally met her in person on our 3rd day and she was as nice as nice could be. We are now in Gjirokaster. At our request Ledia contacted her driver, Eduart Muka, to arrange for our transport. Eduart was one, if not the best, driver we ever had and we have had many in different parts of the world over 30 years. He speaks limited English(far better than my Albanian) but he makes a good attempt to make conversation. The best part is that he is a great driver, very cautious driving alongside the many drivers who drive at speeds like they are on the autobahn. In short, this was an excellent choice of a hotel for a myriad of reasons. Whenwe return to Albania we will stay here again and DEFINITELY have Eduart as our driver. It is very well located and safe. The rooms are quite clean but a little small but adequate. Hotel owners are concerned and trying to ensure our satisfaction. Price/Performance is so good. The hotel has a restaurant. I would recommend it to everyone.

Vila Tako Hotel Tirana (room 102) + Location, near to everything. Many cafés, restaurants and pubs in the area. 25min ride with car from the airport (cost 15 euros with the hotel's small transportation car, pay with cash to the driver). Taxi cost 20-25 euros. 15min walk to Skanderbeg Square. 15min walk to the lake. + Friendly staff, could check-in after midnight even though the booking information said check-in is only to 00:00. Contacted them through 'Booking'-app. You need to ring the bell to enter the hotel entrance or use the key you get after check-in. Could pay for the room by bank card the next day, cause it was late and they wanted us to rest. Reception staff is not at the desk 24/7 but you can reach them by ringing the bell and they will come out. + Clean non-smoking room. + 2 Free water bottles. + Slippers. + Refrigerator, Air-condition, Hair dryer, Kettle. - Wi-fi was not fast and stable. - No elevator, but for us it wasn't any problems. - No safety box (we didn't need it). - Shower holder needs to be fixed, it was loose. +/- No iron, but I guess you can ask the reception for it. Breakfast at the restaurant didn't had so much to offer so we went to another café, and it wasn't open on Sunday. A small grocery store across the street but only accept cash as payment (many places in Tirana only accept cash). It's a good value for the price, I recommend it.
