We stayed at this hotel for almost 2 weeks. The Japanese family room is huge. We had 2 beds, a tatami room with a table and cushions, a small kitchen table, a fully stocked kitchen with a stove top, fridge and freezer, microwave, and toaster oven. There is a washer/dryer combo. We don't have combo units like that in the states, and I could never figure out how to make the clothes not come out with wrinkles. The location is the best. You can walk to two JR stations in less than 10 minutes and a few subways as well. It is right next to the JR tracks between Okachimachi and Akihabara, but the noise from the tracks within the room is very slight. The front desk staff were kind and helpful and were prepared to help English speakers; they relied on translation apps. No one was comfortable speaking English directly but it worked out just fine. Check in and check out were perfectly easy. We shipped our luggage from our last hotel to this hotel, and they already had our bags in our room waiting for us when we checked in. They give you the cleaning schedule when you check in. The only slight annoyance for this whole wonderful stay was that the times they clean take up like 5 hours. They ask you not to be in the room for the whole afternoon pretty much, which is fine because we are busy all day exploring Tokyo, but one day we needed to pack our three weeks worth of souvenirs and had to request they not clean that day. This is a great apart/hotel and we would 100% stay here again. This is the biggest hotel room I've ever seen in Japan.
