To Liry Marrugo, Upon checking into the Ibis Hotel Trujillo yesterday, I discovered that I had made an error in my booking and was off by one day on my arrival when I made my booking. Gianmarco and Jimena at the front desk were right on the task. I don’t know if they inquired with you or another manager, but they arranged my two night stay to be changed to the nights that I needed, November 5-7. I have worked as a Travel Director for 33 years in the United States and Canada and have stayed close to 7000 nights in hotels in my life, so I know excellence at hotels when I experience it. The customer service skills exhibited by Gianmarco and Jimena were exemplary. They were calm, courteous, and most certainly professional. You should be glad to have them on your staff. Because of their professional nature, I have booked myself into an Ibis Hotel in Lima for the end of my trip. I have always found the uniformity of appointments in Ibis Hotels to my liking, and look forward to my stay in Lima, and at more Ibis Hotels on other future trips.
