The rooms were very good for budget accommodation and very clean and fresh. The property is a short walk to the town centre. Using key safes to store the keys for guests makes it simple to book in.

Modernised room with new bathroom and comfortable bed. Walking distance to the centre of town. Off street parking and very quiet. Small outdoor area to sit and relax.

A neatly refurbished older motel. Inside the room, everything is modern and fresh, the beds are comfortable, handy kitchenette and functional bathroom with heated floor and towel rack (a very nice surprise)!
I really had only one annoyance and that was with the noise from adjoining rooms. If there are people in the rooms either side of yours, you will hear them, their shower and taps, their toilet flushing and their TV. Some guests are considerate and others are not. Other than that, Merivale is recommended.
