The place was spacious and clean . Good place for stopovers from Wellington towards Rotorua

Nice town, good environment, beautiful view, and comfortable bed!!

We stayed here 2 nights to access the hiking in the area. Our room was right next to the pool, which was noisy but they did close the pool before it was a problem for sleeping. The rooms were clean but pretty worn as was the entire property. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is fine for a few nights and probably as good as it gets in this area. There are only a few options for dining out but there is a nearby grocery.

Hmmm, The check-in staff were bubbly and attentive, also knowledgeable. If you want an odour free stay, do NOT stay in room 1. The moment I opened the door I knew the smell of cooking and greasy/mouldy carpet was going to be a constant reminder of my stay here in Turangi, If I had been not so so exhausted after my drive I would have requested another room. Thought I would refresh the room by putting on the AC, WRONG. The AC unit was so incredibly noisy and also smelt bad. Two things made me decide to permanently turn this unite off. The smell emanating from it and the so so loud unacceptable noise being emitted whatsoever mode was chosen on the AC. So far 2 major strikes. Buggar it I thought, was ready for bed anyway. AC in the upstairs bed room also smelt bed, and whilst a tad quieter than the same sized unit below, was of such volume that I could not have slept with it on. Hmmmm, I thought the AC noise was significant, and of course it was only after I had turned off these noisy units that the best treat was yet to be felt. OMFG the ROAD NOISE.... My unit was unfortunately adjacent to the main highway. The desert road of New Zealand, and I was reminded of this CONSTANTLY and irrevocably. This unequivocally has to be the NOISIEST place I have stayed in, IN THE WORLD. Thought I would turn on TUNE-IN for some relaxing sounds. WRONG, the FREE WiFi was so slow that even just a basic feed in Tune-In was unplayable. Consistently buffering and unlistenable. Avoid at all cost

The property is undergoing done construction, but signage says exterior work. The older portion needs interior updating. It’s old and worn. The pillows showed yellow through the cases, the door handle lock was flimsy and would take 2 seconds to pop open. Sorry to say I was happy to move on.

Property was tired, beds worn out (roll together) and unit was like it had seen no attention since 1985 - requires modernisation and upgrade. Other guests had just had their vehicle broken into at 830pm at night when we arrived so this was a concern also.

這家酒店地理位置優越，非常適合徒步前往湯吉拉羅高山步道（Tongiraro Alpine track）。不幸的是，天氣對我們來說不太好，但設施提供了一個閒逛的好地方。它有兩層，有我們需要的所有設施。
