I stay away a lot and use hotels b&b and guesthouses. This has to be the best one so for, I’d choose this over any other accommodation. Clean, comfortable , amazing views, it had everything Well done all

The guesthouse has great facilities, both the rooms and outdoors. It is conveniently located, close to the beach and restaurants. The hosts are very friendly, and they came up with an innovative way to serve a great continental breakfast.

Beautiful warm welcoming family and couple , beautiful rooms, neat and fresh linen. Love the littlest things such as drinks in the room’s and cereal. So many little things done with love. It was home away from home. The pool was so tiny though. Just for your feet but perfect hide out place.

Absolutely incredible Guesthouse, the room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The attention to details, location and excellent service combined create an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend Hillside Guesthouse to all travels looking for accommodation in Umhlanga.

Had a wonderful time! Lovely guesthouse with nice sea views. Safe Parking! Rooms are spacious and clean. Loved the kitchenette area and balcony. Here you don't have to worry about loadshedding, they got you covered! Will definitely be returning!

This place was amazing , walking distance to the village , safe , immaculate rooms ! beautiful sea views. Ina and her husband have thought of everything from welcome drinks and chocolates to soaps for two , flowers , you name it - they had it. The presentation in the rooms was awesome, attention to fine detail !

i have my sister visiting me from NEW ZEALAND and arranged to surprise her with an overnight stay ( together with the rest of my family ) at HILLSIDE GUESTHOUSE which is an expanded dwelling of the house we both lived at over 45 years ago when it was owned by our parents . It is a beautiful guesthouse with 5 extremely spacious bedrooms , each with private balconies and lovely sea views --perfectly situated close to the beach and centre of UMHLANGA . INA was a wonderful host who helped to ensure our visit was truly memorable

Pristine facilities, beautiful ocean view and kind assistance! Centrally situated close to quality restaurants, shops and hoter\ls (e.g.The Oyster Box Hotel) A lovely respite en route to Northern KZN.
