希爾頓歡朋飯店-尤蒂卡(Hampton Inn Utica)

Not sure what time the quiet hours start but there were people in the lobby that were loud. Finally got fed up and called the front desk around 11:30pm. The front desk attendent was not apologetic but said thry would say something to the people. I think they did say something once but the people were still loud for another hour. If we had not traveled most of the day, i would have asked for a room far from the lobby. The next morning people were being loud starting at 5am! Needless to say we didn't get much sleep

We were checked in quickly, staff was fine. But the deadbolt didn't work, there was a bathroom outlet hanging out of the wall, the a/c wasn't working right, and there was hair on the wall of the shower (not mine). Overall felt dirty and not well maintained.

I am upset with both ********** and the hotel itself. When I booked the hotel it never asked if we had a pet. We choose this hotel since it was pet friendly. Then at the time of check in we were advised that we needed to pay $50 more due to our puppy. They advised it was not on our reservation form. But ********** never asked if we had a pet. After that the hotel attendants were so rude. They advise that we had to reserve the pool and that the chlorine machine was not working so there was way too much chlorine in the pool. They stated we should shower after going in the pool. Of course our 5 and 7 year old wanted to go in several times, therefore they took several showers. Every single time we asked for towels we were given a fight and such rude behavior. One attendant straight up told my husband no. Not providing towels at a hotel is like not providing napkins at a restaurant. It cannot happen. We will not be staying here again.

There was still food in the fridge from someone who stayed before us. There were stains on the comforter and the person who worked the front desk when we came in was atrocious and rude. We were tired and wanted to get in the room and she wasn't friendly at all.

Hampton inn needs to do better than this. I paid for a king suite and got a queen regular room. Said no other rooms available yet I was booked well ahead of time. Then I go into my room and the carpet was soaked and it had no tv remote. I asked for a remote and they brought me something else that didn’t work. Not to mention I got a couple bug bites on my forehead……

I thought it was very odd that they wouldn’t let me check out at the age 19 when I flew on a plane and went to another state without being 21.

it took two tries for the staff to get us into a room as the key fobs were not working. the carpet looked dirty and the room smelled damp. the toilet had obviously not been cleaned. mattresses were uncomfortable. overall an unpleasant stay and were glad to leave the next day.

We were placed in a room across from the indoor hotel pool which was extremely noisy. Sound echoed off the water and concrete walls and reverberated in our room. Our air conditioner stopped working, just blew room temperature air. Tried turning it off, but then the room was sweltering (probably humidity from the pool). The air conditioner made a grinding noise every 2 minutes ALL Night Long. And to cap off the wonderful experience, the hotel had security lighting mounted outside our room with the light directed against the side of the building and shining into our window. The room was so bright (with all the shades closed and interior lights out) that I could read. This room was so awful, we would have changed rooms (if possible) or left the hotel in the middle of the night, but we were traveling with two small children who were sleeping. My husband & I were up the entire night. The hotel ultimately refunded $75 but the frankly, that was not adequate for this fiasco.

Booked a room for my family of 5 and couldn’t get the front desk help me wit an extra bed or sofa bed for my youngest daughter. We stayed in almost every hotel in Utica and never had an issue like this.
