Homewood Suites by Hilton Madison West

Loved the place.

The hotel room itself was nice, but it was not the accessible room that was booked. Though I showed the desk clerk, Taurus, our reservation, he refused to honor that. Rather, he was defensive and rude; he chose to be condescending rather than actually help us find a solution. The last thing you want to do after a long day of travel is spar with someone. We ended up just finding a way to manage with a regular room. Traveling with an elderly person made this challenging. It was nice, but not made for someone who has physical mobility issues. This was particularly evident in the restroom area. It was very clean and comfortable, and had a pretty view of the courtyard, lit up tree and all. Breakfast was good. Basic fare, but lots of choices and a bit of something for everyone. The breakfast area was also clean and nicely spread out so no guests were in each other’s space. As long as you don’t require an accessible room, this is a good choice.

I always enjoy staying here....the staff is consistently friendly and helpful, the common areas and rooms are spotless, the pool is terrific and the coffee/breakfast bar is outstanding. I appreciate the ample and comfortable seating in the lobby/breakfast bar area. Extremely pleasant experience.

I hate basement levels in hotels to begin with, and this gave me all the creepy vibes. The view at the back of the property was looking into a green swamp littered with garbage. Gross. Front of the building is beautiful-back not so much!

Easy to park, good location - walking distance to restaurants. Big and clean room suite. Pillows didn’t hold shape well but we brought our own. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Family overnight for spring break. Very happy hotel was able to accommodate my accessibility need without issue to me. Pool and hot tub were grand. Little kids, big kids and adults all enjoying. Breakfast was tasty for us all. Son used pull out couch to sleep on and felt it was too cramped when pulled out, so just slept on couch. He also didn't enjoy that TV was not able to be turned 180 degrees but dad and I had no problems. 😉. Easy in, easy out. Could use dish soap in kitchen ara (maybe available if call front desk so don't have wastage?) Staff friendly. Happy customers!

Nice place right off the belt line. Room was spacious and clean. Will stay again!

Love the spacious bedroom as well as a sitting room and kitchen. It was all very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfasts provided as well.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently. Grace at the front desk is worth 5 stars by herself - super helpful and friendly! Kitchen was equipped with everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again.
