科特尼旅館(The Courtney Lodge)

Прекрасный бутик-отель в тихом месте. Все чистое и новое. Красивые номера и ухоженная территория. Очень дружелюбные хозяева и персонал. Ужины можно заказать прямо на месте – точно не хуже, чем в ресторанах в городе и однозначно дешевле.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lodge ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Betten sind bequem und der Pool bietet eine herrliche Erfrischung. Ab Einbruch der Dämmerung sollte man eher mit dem Auto unterwegs sein, hier in der Straße sind gern einmal Elefanten unterwegs.

Wunderschöne Boutique Lodge. Wir wurden mit unserer Familie sehr herzlich von Leslie, Clive und den Mitarbeiter empfangen. Sie konnten uns viele Tipps für weitere Aktivitäten mitgeben. Die Lodge verfügt über alles was das Herz begehrt und ist sehr einladend eingerichtet. Jederzeit würden wir die Lodge für die nächste Reise nach VictoriaFalls wieder buchen. Für Paare und Familien sehr zu empfehlen.

Leslie and Clive have created a place of peace/relaxation and well-being in Victoria Falls with their lodge. The entire lodge is very lovingly furnished. The rooms, 9 in total, are very spacious. Breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the beautiful garden, which is adjoined by the pool and bar. Breakfast consists of a small buffet and a selection of hot dishes, which are ordered a la carte and freshly prepared. All services were excellent, especially Taku, the lodge manager, who took care of all our wishes and organised all activities (Zambezi cruises, helicopter flight etc.) for us. The location of the lodge is such that you can reach the town of Victoria Falls in 10 minutes on foot, but travelling on foot is only recommended when it is light, because after dark you have to share the roads with wild animals (e.g. elephants), which really shouldn't be considered fun. That's why we always took a taxi after dark, which is no problem and not expensive (town -＞ lodge approx. 5 dollars, lodge -＞ waterfalls approx. 8 dollars).

I stayed at The Courtney Lodge for 4 days in March 2024. It was the most comfortable and welcoming place I've been to in Zimbabwe and throughout Africa. The staff there had the kindest smiles and were super friendly. Every part of the lodge, like the cozy garden, bar, swimming pool and lounge, was filled with care and attention to detail. I was also really happy with the meals. I highly recommend it not just for families and couples but also for solo travelers like me. A big thank you to Clive, Leslie and all the staff including Taku, Robbie, and Danny.. for making my trip to Zimbabwe the best.

We are so pleased to have picked this very special lodge for our stay in Victoria Falls. The ambiance, amenities, and gracious staff enhanced the time we spent recharging after our day’s adventures - a perfect melding of old and new in a very welcoming environment. The grounds are lovely and tempt you to spend time just relaxing to the sound of African birdsong or lounging by the pool. The Courtney is a gem. We highly recommend it!

The staff and owner were amazingly kind. It was a lovely and peaceful stay for my family with an 11 year-old son. The location was also good for activities and good restaurants. The only issue was mosquitos as we travelled in December, the rainy season although it didn’t rain so much anyway.

Highly recommend staying at The Courtney! This is a newly opened lodge and it was the best find. We were looking for somewhere that felt luxurious and relaxing without the excessive price tags of a lot of Victoria Falls accommodation. This place did not disappoint. The manager and the owners were on hand to ensure our stay was wonderful, they made reservations for a sunset river cruise, rafting and dinner at Dusty Rose which is a traditional experience with a twist and was a great experience we wouldn’t have known about if they hadn’t suggested it. The space is immaculate, clean, and beautifully decorated. And I even went in the pool which is rare, however this one was so clear, and not full of chemicals and wonderfully refreshing, within their beautifully tended gardens which I wish I could recreate at home! And I must also mention that the chef made a lovely dinner for us and we enjoyed breakfast each morning, great flavours and choices. 100% recommend and would stay again without question.

What an amazing experience! We would highly recommend the Courtney Lodge if going to Victoria Falls. The staff were friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. Taku, the Hotel Manager, arrange all our excursions, made dinner reservations and catered to our every need. The breakfasts were excellent and they were able to provide me with tasty vegan options. When making our dinner reservations Taku made sure that as a vegan I could be catered for. The rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel is tastefully decorated the relaxation and comfort. Thanks to Robby the grounds are kept immaculate and the pool was a welcome treat at the end of very hot days. All and all our stay was excellent and I cannot make a high enough recommendation.
