We rented the main suite in the main floor. The room was clean. Friendly and curitous staff. The main floor the guests are allowed to use. The seating area, the dining room, the communal kitchen. So great. We weren't very mobile this trip, so staying around the mansion, we felt like royalty. Thank you Steven and staff for a beautiful stay. We will be back ＜3

Shortly after checking in, I was bitten by a bed bug and found more under the covers (owners believed these were bugs from outside due to a window that couldn’t be closed). Either way, we were not comfortable staying at the property and requested to return the room for a refund. The lack of understanding and defensiveness from the property manager was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Thankfully ******* customer service helped remedy the situation. The only pro to this property is the quiet neighborhood.

This is a generally comfy place with a sumptuous common room on the ground floor, shared kitchen, and a reasonable breakfast. We enjoyed those aspects. A couple of things to look out for: it is not terribly accessible. The guest rooms are on the second and third floors. If there's an elevator, we didn't discover it. Also, in our room at the time we stayed, the bedroom curtains weren't designed to close completely. A bright room is sometimes a feature, but in the early morning, it's something of a bug. We did notify the manager of this on our way out.

It was one of the best I've stayed at the staff were amazing and friendly and it was relaxing and very clean and beautiful

Great view of the Craig darroch Castle. Property was old but well maintained. Very clean and comfortable.
