Staff was wonderful - Very accommodating! The renovations are almost done. Rooms are clean and very modern. Will definitely stay again!

Pros: - Convenient location in terms of proximity to train station, downtown and Walkway on the Hudson. - Rooms on upper level offer nice views across the Hudson. - Newly renovated rooms. Cons: - Would have been helpful to know the property was undergoing a renovation ahead of the stay, we could've been better prepared (such as pack earplugs). - Connecting doors and corridor doors do not offer enough soundproofing/STC/sound gasket, frequently and easily hear noises from other guests down the hall or in the adjacent room.

Pros: The room was very clean and updated nicely. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast buffet was okay. Our room had a nice view of the river and the bridges across it. Very close to Marist College: a 6 minute drive away. Cons: outside of the rooms, the hotel is a bit dated, but not dirty at all. The area around the hotel is a little rough.

For the price I paid I was highly disappointed. $354 for one night. The heat was sruck in the ON position, it was 78 in the room and needed to call maintenence to make it stop. The heat shut off but the fan kept running all night andeas very loud. The New TV is ridiculous. Each time you increase or decrease the volume a digital voice annouces it? And there's no way to change it since the remote is universal. The room was updated but the value for the price is Not worth it at this time.

Everything about this place is horrible…. The place is old and outdated. Dirty, dark, and antiquated is the best way to describe this place. Went to their “store” to buy a soda, and happened to look at the expiration date on the soda, and it was expired by 5 months. The area felt unsafe and was riddled with homeless people. At 3:00, the fire alarm went off, and when everyone was ushered out into the street, was approached two separate times from homeless people. Thankfully, all of my belongings was back in my room, or I would have gave them some cash. ;) Anyways, definitely would not recommend for a number of reasons unfortunately. :(

Lovely place, very congenial staff. The only issue was it was pretty cool in the room. The first night I asked for some more heat and was told they would turn on the boiler for a while. The second night it was cold again, but we managed. They are remodeling and we got one of the new rooms. Very nicely decorated.

This is a gem of a Hotel. The room we stayed in was newly renovated with multiple USB and even USB-C jacks for phones and other devices. The bed was a King size firm pillow top that we found extremely comfortable, so much so we plan to buy one direct through the hotel. The TV was large, on a wall and easy to hook up with our HDMI corded accessories. It was very quiet, comfortable and any needs we had were quickly and professionally provided by staff. We would definitely go back to this Hotel next time.
