君弗比力克飯店(Hotel Jungfraublick)

Cadre magnifique, l’hôtel mérite bien son nom, personnel de l’hôtel, de ses propriétaires au chef cuisinier au chef de rang, Victor avec toute son équipe, au personnel des chambres, au chauffeur de la navette, irréprochable, attentionné, et travaillant dans une très bonne ambiance proche de ce qui faisait la réputation des très grandes pensions de famille d’antan. Je recommande la demie pension, le chef vous propose un dîner varié et savoureux au rapport qualité- prix imbattable. On aimerait que certains hôtels plus étoilés s’inspire de pareils standards d’hospitalité.

Best hotel we have ever stayed in! We stayed here over Christmas Eve and Christmas night and couldn’t ask for anything more perfect! The Mountain View balcony room is definitely worth it, the beds are so comfy and loved the breakfast! The lady who was topping the breakfast up was really nice as were all the staff! I hope we get to stay again soon! 😊

A beautifully ‘Swiss’ hotel with magnificent views from the balcony rooms, an excellent and fresh breakfast and delightful staff. We are in a balcony room on the second floor and have the most wonderful and expansive view of the mountains, Lauterbrunnen valley and the delightful village of Wengen. Breakfast is delicious and expansive with tasty fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, eggs, bread, meats and pastries. You could not ask for more. In addition it is staffed so attentatively by Irene and others who ensure everyone receives an excellent service. The hotel is meticulously clean and our room was beautifully kept by George.The rooms in this hotel have the largest windows of any we saw in the town. We loved the fact that they were so light and airy with a good sized balcony and that they had Swiss feel to the and didn’t look just like any other hotel room you get around the world! Viktor who checked us in was delightful to talk to and gave us some great ideas for walks. You cannot go past this beautiful hotel.

We stayed here for 8 nights in a Panorama Double Room, with Mountain View (Room 208) on a Bed/Breakfast basis. We arrived at Wengen Station and telephoned the Hotel and within minutes their vehicle came and pickled us up with our luggage. It is only a few minutes away but being at a higher level this service by the hotel was much appreciated. They did the same when we left. The Hotel is just 8 minutes walk away from the Station and even less to the Cable Car Station and the village centre. The Hotel has a superb location with glorious views over the Mountain Range. Our Room 208 was one of six Panorama Double Rooms located on the two front corners of the Hotel with the best views. 108/208/308 and 101/201/301. The 01 Range rooms are larger, but we felt the 08 range has the better overall views and we would say the 2nd/3rd levels are the best. We also felt room 208 being on the Eastern corner meant that one balcony was in the shade during the afternoon whilst the other was in the full sun. The afternoon temperatures into the evening were still very hot, so the shade balcony was an advantage, in other words we had the best of all worlds. The Room was very well furnished and comfortable beds, although we found the duvet was too hot and we slept with just using the duvet cover. The breakfast was a continental buffet and gave a good choice, and with boiled eggs. I think if they offered an option of having other type of eggs, such as an omelette or scrambled that would be good. The Hotel is spotlessly clean and extremely well managed by Victor the Owner. From the time we arrived to the the time we left ALL the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Just to name a few, Hedi in Reception, and ALL the breakfast staff, and in particular IRENE, and the English waitress (sorry I have forgotten your name - your Father was in the RAF) the new young waitress - All of you gave us such a good start to the day - Thank You. The Owner Victor for his information regarding the history and advice on our excursions and walks. Alberto for his 'taxi' service to the station. This is really one of the most friendly Hotels we have stayed in, matched by the service, and the location for walking out each day and using the trains and Cable Cars. There is no Coffee facilities in the Room or fridge, but free complimentary coffee or tea 24/7 in the Lounge. Cold drinks are also available at 4 CHF per bottle, including beer.. This was our first time we had stayed in Wengen itself, although we had camped at Interlaken 59 years ago !! The Hotel only provides breakfast but there are excellent restaurants just minutes away. Wengen is certainly one of if not the best best village to stay at in the area, and I have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel, and we certainly hope to return to here again in the future. We booked three rooms for three couples traveling together. One of the couples was my parents, and I booked our room and theirs. We traveled in June ‘23 but I mistakenly booked for 2024!! We arrived late at night and all rooms were sold out. The lady at reception and the owner Hans Walter himself immediately went to great trouble calling around town to find us accommodations. They could only find one room in the village at another hotel and then kindly made up a small room for us in the hotel for my parents. Eventually they were able to accommodate us at the hotel, and were kind enough to honor the other rate we had booked! They treated us to apéros and a lively and warm time. The rooms are great. Views are spectacular. Sure you can find that in other hotels, but book this hotel if it’s available. The hospitality we received is second to none. They were warm, friendly, accommodating, and did EVERYTHING in their power to make our stay memorable. Thank you Hans and team. I’d give you 10 stars if I could!

We stayed here for a week or so during a trip to Switzerland in September. We had a first class experience. The hotel is well located with incredible views and is a great base to hike from. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfasts were good and the hotel is close enough to Wengen to allow for easy access to restaurants for dinner.

We stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are a bit small for 2 adult and 1 child, but its ok. Breakfast is open buffet and delicious. 5 minutes away by walking to the lift. First day they take you from the train station, its not easy to go there with luggages.

A friendly and helpful staff, especially at reception. As soon as we arrived in Wengen we phoned the hotel and they collected us in their vehicle at the station and took us to the hotel. Spectacular views from the bedroom with a balcony. Very generous buffet breakfasts. We spent a lovely week in the hotel and would certainly return again.
