索利哈爾紅翼旅館(Redwings Lodge Solihull)

Always get a warm welcome at Redwings. The staff are lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by bars and restaurants and on the main bus route into Birmingham city. Perfect for a short stay at reasonable prices.

Weekend visiting family. Hotel easy to find and check in was quick and easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable although bathroom looked tired and in need of a spruce up and some fresh skirting boards fitted. Has access to the adjoining pub through hotel and easy access to Stratford road shops bars and restaurants. Free parking in car park behind hotel. £112 for 2 nights was a fair price, we would stay here again.

We have stayed here before - booked two rooms under 1 booking - were given rooms one up in the room the other on the ground floor. Guests who came back late decided to bang their doors and even have speaker phone conversations at 1am. It’s gone down hill since our previous stay - all in all both of us didn’t get a good sleep, the rooms were cold and the doors were not secure.

Good smooth check in .. comfortable stay Only downside is stairs!! Bed was comfortable and good black out blinds. The only thing I would disagree on is being charged extra £10 to check out at 12pm rather standard time of 10am - too early if you there for leisure time or have families 😬

It's basically a former and pretty run down Premier Inn. Heavy wear and tear especially in the bathroom, the floor was creaking with every step. Family rooms only accessible via four sets of stairs and multiple doors, no way to get a pram up there. Room smelled like smoke, apparently no other room available although we did not see or hear anybody on our floor the whole time. The worst thing was the AC not working. With four people in the room, the temperature reached 24.5°C according to the AC control unit. At checkout I wanted to address this but the receptionist did not come out of the office despite pushing the bell multiple times. Probably was wearing headphones. Stay there if traveling solo and you just need a bed for the night. Otherwise, avoid it.

The reception staff was absolutely amazing so helpfull. My baby wasn't feeling well the following morning of our stay. They supported us so well in allowing us tobtake our time to check out. The lady showed a lot of compassion and consideration
