We stayed here on two separate nights before and after flights. The staff in general seemed to lack any motivation to be affable or helpful, with one particular member on the check-in desk seeming half asleep (we checked in mid-afternoon and then in the evening). No ‘VIP upgrades’ we offered.
On the first stay, ‘someone’ had cancelled our booking, which after ten minutes was then miraculously restored.
Night one: In the room, there was mould on the ceiling of the bathroom, and the door handle kept coming off in my hand. We used the swimming pool, and this was filthy! There were various bits of hair floating around the pool, and the water was extremely murky.
Night two: one of the lights above the bed was flickering incessantly, so we had to turn the lights off.
The service in the restaurant was decent enough, but if you want a decent evening meal from there, choose the pizza, as the burger was like a burned hockey puck.
I hate leaving negative reviews, but this was a complete waste of money, and slightly affected the enjoyment of our holiday as a whole.
