博蒙特旅館（限成人）(Beaumont Guest House - Free Off-Site Health Club - Adults Only)

What a wonderful, quiet, peaceful place to stay. We were made so welcome by the owners and everything was exceptional quality from the bedding, towels to the hand wash and shower gel. Highly recommend the breakfast, a really good fresh buffet, lots of variety and the veggie breakfast was amazing!! Great location, short walk to the lake or lovely walk up to Orrest Head. Lots of fantastic local shops with handmade or local products. Fabulous would highly recommend and will return!!

Nous voulions découvrir le Lake District, nous en repartons extrêmement déçus ! En cause, le guest-house Beaumont de Winderemere, véritable piège à touristes ! Beaumont House se présente comme un B&B 5 étoiles. C’est totalement surfait ! Chambres à £ 140 livres réservés sur le site de l’hôtel soit 172 €, sans petit déjeuner. Nous sommes arrivés à 18h36 au lieu de 18h. Ils ont exigé 25 euros supplémentaires… par chambre…que j’ai refusé de payer. Nous nous sommes retrouvés au 2e étage sous les combles. Très chaud. Vieille moquette. Odeurs du bacon dès 7h du matin. Sur les photos, beau jardin…mais dans les faits parking avec 10 voitures. Hôte désagréable. Pour ma belle mère (90 ans) impossible de monter au 2e étage sans ascenseur. Des chambres étaient libres au 1er étage. Il a fallu payer 35 euros supplémentaires soit 175 £ (215 euros) sans petit déjeuner… avec vue sur un mur !. J’ai dit que j’envisageais peut-être de publier mon premier avis sur Tripadvisor. L’hôte m’a répondu « I am a lawyer ! » Cela nous a dégouté de la visite dans cette magnifique région de l’Angleterre. A éviter à tout prix.

We booked a couple of nights in this hotel after reading many good reviews, but as we paid the deposit we were requested to pay the balance in cash!! We cancelled the booking as who carries £300-400 in cash these days ??

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. Simona and her husband were delightful. Nothing was too much trouble and felt completely at home. A beautiful house on a quiet road, less than 5min walk from the centre of Windermere and great views of the landscape that surrounds you. Very comfy, immaculate and well appointed room to come back to after long days exploring, made all the more enjoyable with a perfectly cooked and hearty Beaumont Breakfast inside us. A beautiful and spotlessly clean hotel a few minutes stroll from the lovely town of Windermere and one mile from Bowness. It’s an attractive listed building with a nice atmosphere. The owners are very nice people running a great business with great humour and clearly plenty of experience. We were both very happy to enjoy a delicious, well presented breakfast with lots of choice in a very relaxing dining room. We had a very nice room and the facilities were spot on. It’s easy to recommend this hotel and we hope to return

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean and had everything you could need. Location ideal to explore the centre… just a couple of minutes walk. Good parking on site and off street. Excellent breakfast … can’t fault it. Would definitely go again ❤️

Lovely 3 night stay at Beaumont House, an excellent location on a quiet road, but three minutes walk to the centre of Windermere. Large car park and lovely garden. We had a superior room which was a great size with a large en-suite with excellent shower. The room was spotless and the bedding and towels top quality, it had been recently decorated with lovely new thick carpets . We had breakfast on all three mornings, the choice was excellent but the full cooked breakfast was superb with top quality local ingredients, great value. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of good places to visit. We will certainly stay here again.

Located literally moments walking distance to Windermere village plus a short stroll to Bowness this hotel is ideally situated! We arrived and got welcomed with a smile and shown to our lovely room. Nice and clean and a comfortable bed. We had a nice quiet pleasant nights sleep (away from the kids 😂) and definitely recommend spending the extra for the freshly cooked brekkie! Thank you to the owners, we hope to return in the near future!

What a lovely gem of a place this is. Simona and her husband can’t do enough for you! We stayed over the weekend and it was perfect. We was there for our 10yr anniversary and upgraded to the suite it was lovely and so comfy. The breakfast is mega and well worth it. 5 mins walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. We’ll definitely be back again.
