We had stayed here 10 yrs ago no problem. This year communication was unbelievably bad starting with a week before we arrived. Their phones were out for 2-3 days - and no where online including their Facebook did they give an alternative phone or email or even acknowledge the issue. The only way I got thru was on ********** app but with 6-8 hour delays. I finally got thru to add my partners name and confirm they had my credit card on file. I called 15 minutes to confirm again and sure enough he checks in and they claim they didn’t have his name or a credit card on file. I get there an hour later the front desk clerk apologized profusely- says she sees the note then tells me they will comp my overnight parking. They didn’t. I was still charged $25. If all this chaos wasn’t bad enough, Verizon has NO SERVICE in the hotel. Zero. My cell phone has the SOS signal on it from the moment I drove into their driveway. I could not text, make a call or receive calls while at their hotel so had to leave frequently. The front desk shrugged it off with “oh you have Verizon?” I am a mother and not being able to use my cell phone in a big city in the US - who would have ever guessed. The service in the bar was also very bad. The hotel itself is nice, but never ever will I stay there or recommended again. Our next stay will be back to The Edgwater
