Weekend stay in March 2023,yes there is an issue with the noise from the nightclub, however i did know this when i booked. A very warm welcome from the host who explained things clearly, room was a nice size with ensuite, tea, coffee and biscuits provided, all for 45 pounds a night, i would say this is a good deal for travellers on a budget and would return

We've stayed here a number of times over many years. It's great if you're out for the night and need somewhere to sleep. Good location, good value, kept clean. Its above a club so probably not ideal if you're looking for an early night.

2.40 am nightclub still going. Absolutely no chance of sleeping. What ABSOLUTE BUFFOON could call this a hotel when you can’t sleep. Hotels are for rest? Obviously not. It’s to be stay awake listening to total rubbish. Do not book this place at all cost.. it is a joke!

On the positive side, a very friendly welcome, spacious and comfortable room, very good price for a central Norwich hotel. In defence of the hotel, I was not bright enough to think of closing the window, so for those of us in front bedrooms, it was a bit noisy with late night passers-by and delivery lorries. On a practical note, the Rose Lane car park is very good value and close to hotel.

Filthy, stained bedding, no lock on paper thin door, noisy, unhygienic, unsafe, unhelpful staff. I couldn't stay as it felt totally unsafe so I paid to stay at the travel lodge. The room was on the 1st floor so directly above the nightclub. No door from the club to the hotel so anyone could walk in Do not even think of staying there.

I arranged a 2-night stay at Hotel Belmonte through *******: on the webpage, no mention of a NIGHTCLUB the hotel is situated above is provided. This listing is misleading in that such essential information has been omitted: if I had been made aware that the hotel is situated above a club, I would not have booked it. After checking in, I took photographs of the room to show the disgusting, broken and run-down condition of it- they’re all attached here. On the nighttime, it was apparent how disturbing the nightclub was due to the loud, thumping music. Even after it closed at 3am, patrons were still loitering and shouting outside; it was apparent they were not being moved on out of respect for hotel guests. This resulted in two nights of little to no sleep. Security staff outside the hotel implored us to get a refund, as they were fully aware of Hotel Belmonte’s deceptive way of advertising. When I complained to the hotel manager, he simply said, “There’s nothing I can do” and gestured for me to leave. When I contacted ******* for a refund, their process involved- wait for it- ASKING PERMISSION from the manager for me to get my money back. He said no. As far as ******* was concerned, that was the matter closed. Still considering Hotel Belmonte? No, I didn’t think so.
