In addition, Albania's only professional weapons Museum (mainly introducing the history of the war against Germany and displaying the guns of that time, without English translation) is also in the castle, together with the Ginocaster Museum (with English exhibition boards), which requires an additional 200 leks to enter. Official recommendation, do not visit the museum for 1 hour, visit the museum for 2.5 hours.

The ancient city of Ginocaster is one of the world's cultural heritages, because it is a well-preserved town of the Ottoman Turkish Empire, located in the highest castle of the city. From a distance, it looks like a huge warship. It is said that it is one of the earliest and largest mountain military fortresses in Europe. It is absolutely magnificent.

The entrance to the castle was converted into a small, toll-paying military museum, displaying some of the broken weapons of the War of Independence and World War II. There are still one or two families living in it, but the city walls are very dilapidated, which is quite historic. It overlooks the whole city of Girocaster.
