JCII相機博物館位於皇居外面的西側,JCII全名為JapanCameraandOpticalInstrumentsInspectionandTestingInstitute,1954年成立,成立目的是確保所有日本出口的攝影器材都合乎質量要求。如果你有20世紀80年代前的日本相機,不妨看看機身,説不定就有JCII貼紙。80年代後JCII漸漸退出銷售舞台,倒是1989年建立的JCII相機博物館裏,各種各樣的相機依然讓人眼界大開。博物館的收藏以老式的膠片相機為主,也有部分數碼相機。不要錯過1839年8月19日發佈的世界首部相機“GirouxDaguerreotypeCamera”,和1854年發佈的日本一部相機。特務使用的手槍形相機、用於偷拍的表形相機、航空拍攝用相機等都是你平時不太能看見的相機,當然耳熟能詳的尼康、佳能、卡西歐等相機也能看到,彷彿展覽了一部照相機的進化史。你甚至還能看到大量可愛的卡通造型相機,攝影愛好者一定會喜歡這裏。此外,博物館會不定期舉行不同的主題展覽,可以關注一下官網。
