I got moved to this hotel from the sister hotel, due to room issue. Location is great and it is clean, but very basic and the single rooms are very small. Even though when searching and booking I looked for a room with 2 people, because just me I was moved to a single bed room. I'm more than happy to pay for a lager room, I liked to enjoy my holiday and not be like a cramp in a room like an hamster. Also the rooms are very dated, but clean. The hotel was clean, but very basic. If you are on a budget and just want a bed for the night with no facilities (bar, breakfast, lounge) then this is OK.

Good location within 10 minutes walk of train and coach stations , but also has adjacent parking if arriving by car. Short walk to old town with many shops and restaurents nearby. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean and include fridge , safe and air con. Some of the decor is a bit dated but the pay off is a larger room. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel as a base for city break.

Last minute trip so options were limited when booking but pleased with the choice. Room was comfortable but the air conditioning didn’t seem to work but it was not a big deal as it was cool enough anyway. Bathroom was fine but the shower would leak on to the floor. Breakfast was at a local cafe just a minute walk along the road and was pretty good. The coffee there was very good on both days. You also had a choice of sandwiches or pastries. Overall a good stay and would come back again if I’m Girona.

The hotel is advertised as cyclist friendly and this is certainly true. They offer a secure bike storage area but this is located in the basement down a flight of stairs that is difficult to navigate in cleats. The storage room has a range of tools for emergencies. There is a pool in the bike room but it was empty. The rooms are good and clean and had everything we needed with the exception of milk for coffee. All a bit odd. The breakfast was great and the coffee bar served the most amazing coffee. The hotel itself is located in a really central area which may be an issue if you have a car. We arrived by train and it was perfect. Would definitely stay again.
