長春宮為內廷西六宮之一,位於太極殿之北,咸福宮之南。明永樂十八年(1420年)建成,初名長春宮,嘉靖十四年(1535年)改稱永寧宮,萬曆四十三年(1615年)復稱長春宮。明朝嘉靖皇帝的尚壽妃、天啟皇帝的李成妃,曾先後居住在此宮。乾隆皇帝的孝賢純皇后富察氏、咸豐帝的孝貞顯皇后鈕祜祿氏、孝欽顯皇後葉赫那拉氏、禧妃察哈喇氏曾先後在此宮住過。民國時期宣統帝淑妃文綉也居住過此宮。

Each hall has three front corridors, which are connected with the corner corridor and can pass through the halls.
