鐘樓位於斯特拉頓街的盡頭，它同時也位於古城的中心位置，作為古城的標誌性建築之一，它也是古城的制高點。沿着陀螺型的台階，踏着陽光的影子登上鐘樓，俯瞰全城，風景壯麗。鐘樓頂鑄有兩個一模一樣的小銅人，每個整點都會用小鎚子敲鐘報時。鐘聲明亮而悠揚，響徹全城，鴿子們伴隨着古老的鐘聲在古城的上空悠閑的盤旋着，彷彿正在告訴遊人，它們也是城市的一員，數百年來從未改變。

杜布羅夫尼克市鐘樓上的鐘建於1444年，上面有兩個一模一樣的小銅人在整點的時候用小鎚子敲鐘報時，被人們成為杜布羅夫尼克雙胞胎“Maro 和 Baro”，也叫做Zelenci。現在原本的Zelenci被放置在了Sponza宮的庭院里，鐘樓上的是複製品。
