進入免費，但是旁邊小門特別低矮，需要縮着身子才能通過。縱然紫陽花季的明月院，有着美得落淚的花叢參道，縱有漫山漫坡都是五顏六色“紫陽花寺”美譽的長谷寺，也有人是為了打卡灌籃高手的鎌倉高校前站…我吧，卻是偏愛上《海街日記》的取景地極樂寺：穿行在夏日濃蔭蔽日草木扶疏的寺院…無人喧囂，不驚不擾，竟然別有一番幽微在眼前．…

是在鎌倉夏日的紫陽花季過去的。和人聲鼎沸的明月院與長谷寺相比，這裏沒有一個人，寧靜得彷彿只有風吹花語，靜聞草香…光影里拍攝，涼亭里小坐，輕手輕腳希望不要打擾這恍若世外之境~這一份靜謐，隨之到江之電極樂寺站都沒有改變，雖然我行走的腳步，一直都想逢上一兩位《海街日記》里大姐小妹那樣的姑娘~

離車站很近，走路2分鐘就到了。沿途也都是五顏六色的紫陽花，邊拍照邊走就到了，非常純樸的小地方。極樂寺非常低調，門面很小不需要門票，16：30就關門了，如果想参觀的要趁早。其實外面的紫陽花又大有漂亮，裏面有好幾棟古建築，現在可能不對外開放，但是可以在裏面散步一直往前走就可以看到主殿了，進去出來大概也就半小時時間，效率非常高的一個景點。離車站也很近，行程上可以適當的安排一下。
